Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone or iPad. If you sign in and turn on sync, a copy is also kept in the cloud, in a US region. See the privacy policy.

Do I need an account?

No. The app works fully without one. Sign in with Apple, Google or an email code when you want to back up, sync or share.

Which devices can make a plan?

Scanning rooms needs LiDAR: a Pro iPhone or a LiDAR iPad. Typing rooms in, for every iPhone, is coming soon.

Can responders see my place?

You show them: Emergency’s Show to responders puts the way in, key box, shut-offs and hazards on one screen, with no signal needed. Department access is planned for later, only during an emergency at your place or a practice they’re invited to.

Does it call 911 for me?

No. Always call emergency services yourself, first. The app never replaces that call.

What are the three layers?

Plan (the shape of the place), Assets (what keeps it safe) and Tactical (what responders need). They’re layers of one place, not floors.

What do the marker colors mean?

Familiar safety colors and symbols: red for fire equipment, blue for shut-offs, green for exits, AEDs and first aid, yellow for hazards. One amber dot means a check is overdue.

Can I trust the routes in an emergency?

No. Routes are for planning only. They have not been evaluated for use in an emergency.
